Samuel Logan is the son of Mike Logan, head of the military organization Nighthawks, which guards the valuable "Ice Cube" diamond. Suffering from terminal cancer, Mike Logan orchestrated a brain transplant that transferred his consciousness into Samuel's body. As a result, Samuel possesses his father's memories and personality while physically appearing as a young boy bearing visible surgical scars on his forehead.

Samuel is an unwilling and traumatized participant in his father's plan. He appears scared and distressed, particularly during the bridge confrontation between the Green Jacket Lupin impostor (Yasuo) and the Red Jacket Lupin. Trapped in Yasuo's vehicle as the bridge rises, Samuel experiences flashbacks of his father. Yasuo rescues Samuel from falling out of the car, but Samuel dies during the ensuing chaos when a missile strikes the bridge. His death highlights the extreme measures taken by his father and the conflict's collateral damage.
