OVA
Description
Bruce Wallace Windbloom, born Bruce Banin Windbloom II (also known as Bruce Blanc de Windbloom), was the prince and future king of Windbloom Kingdom. Approximately 21 years old during the OVA's events, he was born into royalty. His mother's death when he was around 14 fueled frequent conflicts with his father. He had at least two older brothers: Richard and the reigning king during the story's timeline.
To protect his identity, he initially used the pseudonym "Bruce Wallace" when meeting Sifr Fran. Tasked with escorting Sifr to Windbloom after her mother's death, he played a pivotal role in rescuing her from a kidnapping attempt by Schwartz and Aswad forces on a train. This mission was undertaken alongside Lena Sayers, his contracted Meister Otome. Bruce proved himself a "Badass Normal," demonstrating significant combat proficiency by confronting Schwartz agents and a cyborg without Otome powers. His resourceful tactics included pretending intoxication and using a breath weapon to breathe fire on an adversary.
Bruce felt an immediate affinity for Sifr, later revealed as an illegitimate descendant of the Windbloom royal line and thus his cousin. Their relationship deepened, culminating in marriage after Bruce ascended the throne following his brother's death. He ruled as king with Sifr as his queen. Their union produced one daughter, Mashiro Blan de Windbloom.
Bruce and Sifr met a tragic end during a coordinated assault by Schwartz and Aswad on Windbloom. The attack resulted in their deaths and also claimed the life of Lena Sayers, who ensured the infant Mashiro's survival before perishing.
