Kabetaijin, whose real name is Taijin Kawabe, is a highly skilled rapper who achieved significant fame by winning the DRB Rap Battle Competition three consecutive years. His exceptional talent earned him the titles "The Magician of Words," "The Inventor King of the Rap World," and "The Precision Machine of Rhymes." During high school, Kabetaijin was good-looking but socially awkward, struggling with self-expression and forming friendships. He often isolated himself, considering himself a lowly and boring normie. His life changed when a classmate introduced him to the music of Sekitoba Kung Fu. Inspired, he began attending cyphers and discovered rap as a powerful medium to convey his inner feelings, which led to his remarkable success in competitive battling. The intense pressure to maintain his winning streak took a severe physical toll. He stressed himself out, working overnight to formulate his lines, ultimately developing a stomach ulcer. During one victory announcement, he collapsed on stage from the pain and subsequently vowed never to rap in front of a crowd again, retiring from the scene. His retirement was characterized by a reclusive and frustrated existence, avoiding recognition and struggling to write new rhymes. This period ended when he was encountered by Zhuge Kongming at a laundromat. Kongming challenged him to a rap battle at the BB Lounge. Although initially declining, Kabetaijin was eventually provoked into participating after Kongming questioned his courage and Eiko Tsukimi performed "Find the Way," a song that held deep personal significance for him. The rap battle against Kongming reignited his passion. Following a draw decided in his favor, he joined Kongming and Eiko's mission to achieve world peace through music, stating that his wish to rap again had already been granted. However, his prolonged hiatus had affected his skills, and he remained haunted by his unresolved history with his rival, Sekitoba Kung Fu. As a prerequisite to fully dedicating himself to Eiko's goal of gathering 100,000 likes for a music festival performance, he was tasked by Kongming to settle his duel with Sekitoba. He embarked on a period of soul-searching and training, returning to his roots and reconnecting with his old friend Suzuki and his original crew. This journey culminated in a showdown where Sekitoba admitted defeat, granting Kabetaijin peace of mind and allowing him to focus entirely on supporting Eiko. His role extended beyond simply adding rap to Eiko's performances. During a critical concert where Eiko faced ruthless harassment from attendees after impersonating the group Azalea, he intervened on stage. He utilized his renowned skill in dissing and obliterating opponents through words to redirect the crowd's negativity onto himself, roasting them mercilessly and effectively diverting their attention. This created a necessary diversion that allowed Eiko to continue her performance successfully. Kabetaijin is characterized as soft-spoken and polite in everyday interactions. This demeanor contrasts sharply with his rap battle persona, which has a voice of steeled resolve and is merciless and unrelenting. He possesses a powerful aura capable of capturing an audience's attention and stirring their emotions.
