Description
Chamametchi debuted as an egg in an animated feature. During an incident at the Mame household, the egg rolled out and became stranded on a high structure. Mametchi rescued it, and the egg later hatched into Mimifuwatchi. This infant rapidly matured into Chamametchi, establishing her as Mametchi's younger sister. The rescue forged a profound bond, leading her to idolize her brother and follow him constantly.

Her personality blends intelligence with childlike qualities. She exhibits curiosity in activities like drawing, daydreaming, flower-picking, and watching Lovelin on television. Yet, she also displays stubbornness and occasional selfishness, often using crying to gain attention. A distinctive speech pattern involves adding "chama" to names and ending sentences with "desu." Her optimistic outlook is captured by the phrase "Life is Sweet!"

Chamametchi's admiration for Mametchi drives much of her behavior, though her short attention span causes her to disregard his instructions. This dynamic sometimes results in mishaps, like accidentally activating a body-swapping machine at MameMame Laboratory. Her closest friends are Kikitchi and Imotchi. She cares for Mametchi's Tama Pet, Hapihapitchi, sharing most activities though occasional conflicts occur. She also maintains unique connections, being one of the few alongside Spacytchi and Akaspetchi who comprehend Pipospetchi's speech. Her habit of applying poorly-executed makeup, usually on Mametchi, often leads to embarrassment upon discovery.

Beyond the initial film, Chamametchi appears in other animated productions. In "Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!", she persistently seeks friendship with Kikitchi despite initial rejection, later joining a quest to restore a storybook's disrupted happy ending. Throughout the "Tamagotchi!" anime series, she attends Tamagotchi School with peers like Kikitchi and Imotchi. Notable episodes show her on adventures, including a Tamaween quest to find Pumpkin Soup Lake and forming an unexpected bond with the shy Octodogtchi after returning a lost grass skirt. Her imagination sometimes manifests as "Super Chama Girl," a superhero persona featured in episodes like "Super Heroine Chamametchi!" and later crossovers.

Within the virtual pet series, Chamametchi debuted as a teenager in Tamagotchi Connection Version 5, obtainable through specific breeding combinations involving Mametchi and Chantotchi or via care-based evolutions. Later releases like Tamagotchi iD and subsequent models reclassified her as an adult character. Game mechanics vary: in Tamagotchi Music Star, she evolves from child-stage characters with perfect care; in Tamagotchi Plus Color, she emerges from certain predecessors with minimal care mistakes; and in Tamagotchi Pix, her acquisition depends on egg color, care mistakes, and specific food consumption. Tamagotchi Smart introduced her as an adult exclusive to the Anniversary Party Friends TamaSma Card, requiring specific feeding patterns. Recent installations like Tamagotchi Uni feature her as an NPC in locations such as the Fairy Tale Library when using the Picture Book item.
