Yunque "Suzu" Lin is a 12-year-old girl of Chinese origin who possesses a unique ability known as an "Allergy" called "Escape." This power strongly resembles flight, and she often flaps her arms like wings when using it.

She first appears during an attack on the space station Pink Coral, arriving in a kimono-like space suit known as a Stora, which is named "Red Peacock" and designed from another character's DNA. A notable physical trait is her Girlish Pigtails, which are expressive and function as hands because her actual arms are typically bound inside her large sleeves, limiting their use.

Her personality is cheerful, strange, and cloudcuckoolander. She operates under the delusion of being a space defender, referring to herself as a Private First-Class in a non-existent Galactic Three Nation Army and assigning military-themed nicknames to others.

Her background involves a traumatic past, explored alongside other main characters. The song "Umidorika" serves as a coping mechanism for her and the others during psychological distress. She develops a close bond with two other Adapter girls, Amuri Kakyoin and Perrier La Mer. This bond is significant because Suzu is not repelled upon physical contact with Amuri, which is unusual given the nature of Amuri's Allergy.
