Description
Fuko serves as a sex worker at Daniel's Diner and its adjoining brothel near Rostock Corporation’s Area 262 airbase. She typically maintains professional distance from clients, aware their visits satisfy physical needs, not emotional ones. Pilot Jinroh Kurita broke this pattern; his gentle, dreamy nature uniquely resonated with her. Her emotional investment soured when he persistently evaded explaining the sorrow she detected in him.

Jinroh’s disappearance and presumed death left her with enduring melancholy, resurfacing in memories. This loss colors her interactions with Yuichi Kannami, Jinroh’s replacement, whose appearance and mannerisms strongly evoke Jinroh. Shortly after Yuichi’s arrival, she initiates sex with him, bluntly declaring his presence confirms Jinroh’s death. During their encounter, she notes parallels between the pilots but observes Yuichi speaks "like a kid," differing from Jinroh’s demeanor. Her grief reignites anxiety over forming bonds, fearing further heartbreak.

Later, Fuko discovers base commander Suito Kusanagi as a brothel client, observing her engaged in intercourse. She reveals this to Yuichi after rescuing Kusanagi from an aircraft crash near her home and transporting the injured commander to base—a repeat of prior aid she provided Kusanagi. Fuko’s knowledge of both pilots and the commander establishes her as an outsider with intimate awareness of personal dynamics in the military sphere.
