Description
Ken Ferrari, a Japanese-Italian Formula One trainee from Modena, Italy, resides in Tokyo while pursuing dual careers as a racing driver and motor journalist. His surname—authentic or adopted—binds him to the Ferrari legacy, causing profound distress upon Enzo Ferrari's death, situating events near 1988.

Brash and overtly perverse, Ken eagerly flaunts his driving skills in Ferraris while relentlessly pursuing women. He frequently attempts to glimpse girls' underwear or breasts and juggles multiple romantic interests. His opportunistic approach shifts focus from photographer Aiko Yoshinaga, whom he assists with car trouble and shares implied off-screen intimacy, to high school student Eri Hayami immediately after meeting her.

Ken demonstrates elite driving prowess, executing instant 180-degree turns without momentum loss and navigating tightly packed parking decks. His passion centers on high-end sports cars like the Ferrari Dino, reflecting deep appreciation for precision engineering. His racing background surfaces briefly during an interrupted street race against Eri’s brother, Tohru Hayami ("The White Wolf").

After rescuing Eri from bullies, Ken draws the ire of their leader, Hebijima. When Eri is kidnapped during the race with Tohru, Ken partners with Tohru in a vehicular pursuit to save her, showcasing unexpected teamwork beneath his self-centered demeanor. This resolved conflict concludes his narrative arc.
