Seia Sakaki works as a waitress at Café Noel, where her uninhibited and direct demeanor significantly boosts the café's popularity. Her appearance and openly flirtatious manner belie her experience of neglect within her marriage, which lowers her inhibitions and heightens her receptiveness to attention. She develops an attraction to Tomoya Asahina, the café's acting manager, seeing him as a potential source of personal fulfillment.
