Description
Akiho Onose works as a reserved waitress at Noel, a cosplay-themed café, her quiet and unassuming nature contrasting with her more outgoing colleagues. She possesses low self-confidence, dresses modestly, and exhibits a gentle, caring personality. Her daily life shows a naive enthusiasm, often leading her to overbuy during grocery trips.

A widow, Akiho lost her husband, Taichi, before the narrative begins. She lives alone, has not pursued new relationships, and persistent grief over his death causes her frequent reminiscence. This loss fosters emotional distance and hesitancy towards new romantic connections.

Tomoya Asahina, the café's acting manager, harbors strong romantic feelings for her. Despite his obvious attention, regular presence in her routine, and actions like joining her shopping trips and sharing meals, Akiho remains oblivious, assuming her affection is unreciprocated. She gradually develops feelings for Tomoya herself but doubts their mutuality due to deep-seated insecurities.

Her history of loss and solitude shapes her interactions, making her cherish companionship, such as shared meals with Tomoya. Her emotional journey involves slowly opening to new relationship possibilities, though ongoing internal barriers stem from low self-esteem and past trauma.
