Gitai, a male shinobi from the Land of Demons, belongs to the Gang of Four—Yomi’s elite cadre alongside Kusuna, Setsuna, and Shizuku. Pale-skinned with white shoulder-length hair and crimson eyes, he conceals his mouth beneath a blue cloth. His white uniform, emblazoned with a hexagram, mirrors his comrades’ attire, layered over a sleeveless blue shirt and martial arts footwear. When transformed, his skin darkens to tan, etched with glowing green sigils across his limbs and face.
Mastering Earth Release, Gitai reshapes battlefields through erupting stone barriers, projectile-tracking boulders, and seismic shockwaves. His defensive rock armor doubles as crushing weaponry. Empowered by Yomi’s dark chakra, he wields Fire Release to summon flaming vortices and tornadoes of fire. His ultimate gambit—consuming chakra serpents—mutates him into a tri-headed, hexapodal behemoth that detonates terrain, though this unstable form implodes upon sustaining critical damage.
Brash and sadistic, Gitai revels in combat dominance, demanding chakra boosts from Kusuna and absorbing raw energy mid-battle. He taunts enemies relentlessly, particularly fixating on overpowering Rock Lee. Though disciplined in technique, his hubris drives reckless acts—like devouring chakra serpents without considering their volatile consequences.
During the mission to unleash Mōryō, Gitai assaults the demon’s prison guards before joining the temple siege against Naruto’s team. He warps terrain to isolate foes until Sakura and Rock Lee repel him. Compelled by Setsuna, he tracks Kusuna through scent-enhanced pursuit. In his climactic duel against Lee, Gitai petrifies into a stone juggernaut, overwhelming Lee with earthen assaults. Even as Lee activates the Eight Gates and Drunken Fist, Gitai persists until serpent-fueled transformation. The mutated shinobi’s explosive fury culminates in self-destruction from Lee’s counterstrike, leaving only violet smoke swirling skyward—a failure met with Kusuna’s scathing disapproval.
