Description
Chowder is a magician created solely for the animated film *Cinnamoroll: The Movie*, residing in a hollowed-out tree within the forest bordering Cafe Cinnamon. He possesses vibrant blue skin or fur, a distinctive purple crest or mohawk atop his head, and darker blue markings encircling his lilac-colored eyes. Two visible fangs protrude from his mouth, and he sports a long tail ending in a heart-shaped purple tip. His attire features a makeshift dark turquoise cape tied around his neck, and he carries a spell book inscribed with unique runes.

Marked by impulsivity, Chowder often acts without forethought, leaping to conclusions like misidentifying Cinnamoroll as a threat to cafe owner Ms. Anna. He reacts defensively to criticism, habitually countering insults by proclaiming himself "the greatest magician in the world." Despite this bravado, he demonstrates remorse, tearfully admitting fault when his spells cause harm. Unrequited affection for Ms. Anna subtly influences his behavior, though he does not actively pursue her.

Chowder's narrative begins when he witnesses Cinnamoroll falling from the sky near the cafe. Mistakenly perceiving the puppy as a danger to Ms. Anna, he attempts to eliminate Cinnamoroll using magic. A catastrophic spell backfire summons a monster that kidnaps Ms. Anna and transports her, Chowder, and the pups to a surreal world made of sweets. This monster, manifesting as "Chowder's true feelings," impersonates him with purple skin and aggressively courts Ms. Anna.

Trapped in the magical realm, Chowder reluctantly transitions from antagonist to ally, collaborating with Cinnamoroll and the pups to rescue Ms. Anna. He exhibits protectiveness, such as saving Milk from giant silverware, and vulnerability when thanked for his efforts. His development culminates in accepting responsibility for the chaos and forming tentative friendships with the group, though some pups remain wary due to his initial hostility. The film concludes with Chowder emotionally acknowledging the group as his friends.

This character remains exclusive to this film, absent from other Sanrio media, official art, or merchandise. His background, including his solitary forest life and limited prior social interactions, is inferred solely from the movie.
