Tigrerra, a tiger-like Bakugan of the Haos attribute, serves as the loyal Guardian Bakugan to Runo Misaki. Beginning in ball form, it unfolds into a quadrupedal white tiger harboring a concealed internal blade capable of cutting any substance in the human world; this blade becomes more prominent following evolution. Highly protective and devoted, Tigrerra often addresses Runo formally as "my lady" and demonstrates a fierce sense of duty, sharing a deep bond and willingness to defend her ferociously. Tigrerra evolves into Blade Tigrerra during a critical event trapped within the Doom Dimension with Runo, while attempting to rescue Dan Kuso and Drago. Facing battle against a younger Dan and Lars Lion, Runo's emotional confession triggers the transformation. Blade Tigrerra adopts a bipedal, humanoid tiger form with enhanced physical capabilities, visible body blades, and increased combat effectiveness, gaining new abilities like Velocity Fang and Lightning Shield. Later, Blade Tigrerra participates in New Vestroia conflicts, where the Vexos capture and petrify it into a statue. This capture directly motivates the Legendary Soldiers of Vestroia to seek external aid. Liberated, Blade Tigrerra continues battling alongside Runo. However, an inability to evolve further, unlike other Bakugan, leads Tigrerra to retire from active combat, expressing a desire to avoid endangering Runo. Subsequently, Tigrerra acts as a protector of New Vestroia. During the Mechtanium Surge conflicts, it perishes defending against Mechtavius Destroyer, though this event is later negated by timeline alteration. Tigrerra maintains relationships with other Bakugan, notably a close friendship with Preyas and Drago. The Bakugan exhibits strategic thinking in battle and occasional confusion regarding human emotions. A localization difference exists: the Japanese version portrays Tigrerra as male ("Tigress"), while English adaptations present it as female, a distinction consistent after evolution. Tigrerra's base G-Power starts at 340 Gs, increasing to 450 Gs post-evolution and further to 500 Gs in later battles. Associated ability cards include Crystal Fang and Cut in Slayer for the base form, with evolved forms utilizing Hyper Velocity Fang and Saber Glowcer. Multiple attribute variations exist beyond Haos, including Pyrus, Ventus, Subterra, Darkus, and Aquos, with G-Powers varying by attribute and release. Tigrerra's background references an ancient Pyrus counterpart named Nova Lion, noted as the wisest and oldest Bakugan, who perishes confronting hybrid adversaries. Tigrerra's story spans rescue missions, interdimensional conflicts, and eventual guardianship of New Vestroia.
