Description
Tohn Kirii is a young male pilot enlisted in the Neo International Defense Force (NIDF) to combat the Hadean threat. He possesses a high-pitched voice and feminine appearance, resulting in frequent mistaken identity. Squad mates Aguri Io and Shu Aiba deliberately tease him over this trait, while Roki Demon does so unintentionally. Tohn retaliates by maintaining a photo album filled with compromising images of Aiba. He exhibits low alcohol tolerance, becoming overly affectionate and clingy when intoxicated.
His enlistment was driven by personal tragedy: the death of his sister, Dinne, in combat. Within the NIDF, Tohn pilots mecha units like the NES-1 Viper against Hadean monsters. He survived the catastrophic losses of Episode 3, undergoing a transformation into a "transformed" human or semi-Necrodiver. This granted him enhanced abilities linked to the Book of the Dead, enabling his return to the conflict later.
Tohn's interactions focus on squad dynamics, particularly the teasing relationships with Aguri and Aiba, and his underlying motivation rooted in his sister's memory. His presence contributes interpersonal tension and occasional humor within the NIDF team structure.
