TV-Series
Description
Corriere is a professional courier who plied his trade across Kansai, specializing in transporting illicit items for payment. This career, starting in childhood with simple deliveries for money, ultimately earned him a 745-year sentence from the Kansai government, branding him a highly wanted Akudama due to his criminal activities, including handling contraband like bombs and drugs for dubious clients. As a child, an older woman took him in and cared for him. A traumatic incident occurred when a stranger broke into their home and killed her. While defending himself against the intruder's gunshot, Corriere lost his right hand, leading to its replacement with a distinctive robotic prosthetic. He later claimed the intruder's motorcycle as his primary vehicle.

Physically tall with fair skin, Corriere has striking purple eyes and neck-length purple hair swept to the right. He typically wears a grey hoodie under a black biker jacket, black biker jeans, and black boots with grey soles. His accessories include light grey earrings and a small leg bag secured by a strap.

Taciturn and minimally expressive, Corriere usually maintains a serious or nonchalant demeanor. He speaks sparingly, responding only when necessary, and prioritizes professionalism in interactions. Confidence in his work and a workaholic nature define him, alongside a preference for solitude, often seen smoking cigarettes. His defining trait is an unwavering sense of duty, compelling him to complete any mission he accepts, regardless of danger, and he refuses to abandon tasks once begun. He holds a superstition that retrieving dropped money brings bad luck.

A pivotal moment occurred when Corriere accidentally dropped a 500-yen coin at a takoyaki stand. An ordinary woman attempted to return it, but he declined, citing his superstition. This woman, later branded "Swindler," was inadvertently drawn into his world when she witnessed the Akudama's rescue mission for Cutthroat. Corriere initially dismissed her as insignificant and even pointed a gun at her when others speculated about their connection. Swindler kept the coin, attempting to return it later during their journey to Expo Park with the siblings Brother and Sister; Corriere again refused, frustrating her.

Corriere participated in the Shinkansen raid under duress from explosive collars and the promise of payment. He fought Executioners, utilizing his customized motorcycle's grappling hooks, lasers, and integrated railgun to aid the group's escape and mission success. After discovering Brother and Sister as the raid's masterminds, Brother privately hired Corriere to protect Sister and deliver a charm to her. Corriere later rescued Swindler and Sister from attackers at a garbage dump, fulfilling this initial request. When Swindler, lacking funds, begged him to help rescue the captured Brother, she appealed to his work ethic by framing it as her "purpose," convincing him to assist.

During the infiltration of Executioner Headquarters, security systems triggered a flashback for Corriere, revisiting the trauma of his caretaker's death and the origin of his robotic arm. Swindler's subsequent sacrifice – deliberately getting captured and executed to incite public rebellion against the Executioners – impacted him. Before her death, she gave Corriere the 500-yen coin as payment for his final mission: ensuring the siblings' escape. Severely wounded in the ensuing chaos, Corriere placed Brother and Sister on his motorcycle. With his remaining strength, he used the bike's laser to destroy pursuing drones. In his final moments, he gave the siblings Swindler's 500-yen coin as a good luck charm. He died on his motorcycle, smiling.

Corriere's development centered on his relationship with Swindler. Initially indifferent and professionally detached, he gradually aligned with her goal of protecting the siblings, moving beyond mere payment. His acceptance of the coin from Swindler and his final act of passing it to the children symbolized a shift, embracing her belief in their safety over his own superstition. This culminated in his sacrificial death to ensure their escape, a direct result of Swindler's influence on his sense of purpose.
