Description
Cutthroat stands as Kansai's highest-ranking criminal, infamous for 999 murders that earned him a 967-year prison sentence. His record marks him the region's most dangerous Akudama. A Kansai Police detective captured him through a fatal sacrifice, resulting in Cutthroat's imprisonment and scheduled execution.

He typically displays a childlike demeanor, singing rhymes and showing innocent curiosity. This sharply contrasts with his sadistic obsession for bloodshed, intensely triggered by the color red. The sight of blood provokes uncontrollable violence; he describes it as beautiful, like a blooming flower. This fixation extends to red objects and environments, leading to impulsive acts like pressing emergency buttons. Though manipulative, feigning concern to achieve goals, his excitement for killing often betrays his deceptions.

Rescued from execution by other Akudama, Cutthroat immediately beheads the police chief for his 1,000th kill. He joins the mission to raid the Shinkansen, developing an obsessive interest in Swindler due to the red tones in her pink hair. Throughout the mission, he protects her under the pretense of safeguarding his "angel," later admitting this was a ruse to prolong his anticipation of killing her. He perceives her as possessing a unique "red halo" that grows more captivating, heightening his desire to end her life.

During the Expo Park escape, Cutthroat uses the immortal child Brother as a human shield, stabbing through him to attack the Execution Division Master. Swindler's horror at this act leaves him indifferent. When Doctor betrays the group, he intercepts an attack aimed at Swindler and battles ensuing Executioners. After the group separates, he tracks Swindler to Execution Division HQ, massacring officers and stacking their bodies into a "cake" as a gift for her.

In their final confrontation, Cutthroat reveals his true intent: prolonging Swindler's survival to witness her "red halo" expand before killing her. He attacks Courier, but Swindler intervenes. During the struggle, she severs his arm and stabs him. He dies expressing admiration for the redness of his own blood. His death is portrayed as undignified, contrasting with more heroic ends of other Akudama.

The character appears exclusively in the main 12-episode anime series.
