Yoko Shimojo attends an unspecified educational institution on a sports scholarship, highlighting her exceptional athletic talent. Like her classmate Asuna, she comes from a background without influential connections. This shared circumstance forges an immediate and powerful bond between them. They become intensely close friends almost instantly, forming an inseparable partnership.

Yoko later uncovers that Asuna has been coerced into becoming a pleasure slave by another student, Yurika. Instead of abandoning Asuna, Yoko commits to fighting for her freedom.
