He serves as the pilot of the Big Shooter for Build Base, a role he held for longer than Tsubaki initially knew, operating the craft during combat to deliver Jeeg parts and spearhead aerial support against Haniwa Genjin threats.

Possessing a reserved demeanor and good looks, Kyo attracts considerable attention from female classmates. He maintains a competitive relationship with Kenji, particularly as rivals in Hyper Motor Bike racing representing Team Shiba. This rivalry fuels Kyo to consistently challenge Kenji during missions, pushing him to perform at his peak.

Throughout the conflict against the Great Jama Kingdom, Kyo collaborates with Tsubaki as co-pilot of the Big Shooter. His operational experience proves vital during battles against foes like the Phantom Gods Magura and Tobira, the defense of Build Base, and the final confrontation on the Moon.
