Chuuta Misora is a young man who encounters protagonist Seiko Nagare on a train journey to Nagasaki. He displays immediate romantic interest in her, yet faces consistent rejection throughout their interactions. Despite Seiko's repeated efforts to avoid him, he persistently appears at various locations she visits in Nagasaki, his behavior sometimes becoming intrusive.

His eccentric personality introduces comedic elements while simultaneously casting suspicion on his true motives. An aura of mystery surrounds his background and motivations, becoming a recurring aspect of his presence. During the murder investigation involving the Totsugawa family, Chuuta unexpectedly intervenes to prevent Seiko's arrest by local police, positioning himself as an ally despite her reluctance.

As the mystery unfolds, Chuuta actively participates in solving the case. He assists Seiko in uncovering the truth behind both the ghostly apparition of guitarist Takano Kyouichirou and the murders connected to the prominent local family. His involvement proves instrumental in navigating dangerous situations. The narrative maintains an air of mystery around his character beyond his actions and persistent pursuit of Seiko.
