Orphaned as a child when her family's defection attempt from the Eastern Bloc ended in her parents' death amidst crossfire, she was separated from her younger brother Paul, presumed dead. Rescued by Western Bloc soldiers, she was recruited and trained by the Zero Zero Organization.
