Daisuke Ikezu serves as lead actor in Masami Shimomura's financially struggling amateur theater troupe. He actively pressures protagonist Suekichi Terayama to abandon university and dedicate himself entirely to the theater, displaying a noticeable resentment towards college students. Ikezu collects membership dues to fund performances, yet the group remains deeply indebted. Driven by escalating financial desperation, he participates in a drastic scheme organized by yakuza-connected loan sharks: the male troupe members work at a host club functioning as a male brothel, where Ikezu engages in sexual acts with clients for payment. Mounting financial pressures and the troupe's instability lead Ikezu to consider abandoning the group entirely.
