J's established reputation precedes her on-screen appearances, built on stealing specific Pokémon like Ninetales, Kirlia, Magby, Swampert, Teddiursa, and Relicanth for clients. Her debut mission targeted Melodi's Gardevoir; when it attempted escape via Teleport, J tracked its heat signature using specialized goggles and immobilized it with an arm-mounted petrification beam, turning it to stone for transport. Seizing opportunity, she also captured Ash's Pikachu after assessing its battle potential. Her hunts employ advanced technology: petrification beams, adjustable containment cases for petrified Pokémon, and goggles detecting heat signatures and camouflage. She utilizes six-wheeled vans with net-launchers and a large airship for transport and storage. Though Regigigas temporarily destroyed her petrification device, it was later repaired or replaced. Its rampage forced her retreat after her device was damaged and the client withdrew. Her final mission involved collaboration with Team Galactic to capture the lake guardians Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. Using a Galactic Bomb to force Azelf from Lake Valor, she captured all three with Galactic assistance.
