Description
Caro Ru Lushe hails from the nomadic Ru-Lushe tribe on the world of Alzus. Born in Mid-Childan year 0065, she demonstrated exceptional talent in her tribe's traditional dragon summoning arts from a young age, capable of summoning two powerful dragons by age six. This ability frightened the tribe elders, who believed her power would bring misfortune, leading to her banishment. Sent to a Time-Space Administration Bureau (TSAB) special protection facility on Midchilda, she lived under restrictions with limited prospects, as no TSAB unit would employ her due to her inability to control her summons. She feared her own power, worrying summoned dragons might rampage. Her circumstances changed when Fate Testarossa encountered her and became her legal guardian. Initial logistical constraints prevented cohabitation, so Caro relocated to the 61st administrated world, Supools, working as a Conservation Officer Assistant with the Frontier Nature Conservation Corps. There, her summoning abilities proved valuable in wildlife conservation efforts.

In *StrikerS*, Caro joined Riot Force 6 as a Ground Forces Private Third Class. Initially ranked C+ as a ground-based mage with minimal control over her summons, she was assigned the callsign "Lightning 04" in the Forward Lightning unit as a Full Back, specializing in support due to her combat limitations. Training under Nanoha Takamachi and alongside her partner Erio Mondial, she gradually overcame her fears and refined her skills. Her role involved summoning dragons like Friedrich (her constant companion) and Voltaire for tactical support. By the end of *StrikerS*, she returned to Supools with Erio as a full Conservation Officer, now ranked Private First Class with an A+ synthetic mage rank.

During *ViVid*, Caro's physical development became a recurring point; she grew minimally (approximately 1.5 cm), contrasting with Erio's significant height increase. Lutecia Alpine teasingly called her "midget," highlighting Caro's subtle complex about her stature. She adopted a long ponytail and maintained her conservation work with Erio. In a mock battle on Carnaaji, she served as Full Back for the Red Team, strategically summoning Einhart Stratos for recovery and using Alchemic Chain to distract opponents, enabling Corona Timil's golem to strike. This period reinforced her familial bonds with Fate, Erio, and Vivio during group gatherings.

In *Force*, Caro and Erio were reassigned under Hayate Yagami's command in the Special Duty Section 6 to address the Eclipse crisis. As a senior officer, she mentored newer members like Thoma Avenir. Her equipment included four S2 Shields for defense, referred to as "Defensive Equipment." She participated in high-stakes operations, such as safeguarding AEC Armament transports and combating the Grendel family during ambushes.

Caro's magic utilizes the Mid-Childan system, focused on summoning and support spells. Her primary abilities include Dragon Soul Summon (for Friedrich) and Dragon Mount Summon (for Voltaire, reserved for critical situations). She excels in Increase-type support magic like Boost Up, Enchant, and healing spells such as Physical Heal. Her dependency on summoned creatures for offense necessitated her Full Back role. Her Device, Kerykeion, is a Boost Device enhancing mana efficiency. Her Barrier Jacket, Lightning Style, emulates Fate Testarossa's Impulse Form, prioritizing mobility and reduced mana consumption over defense, featuring a white cape and hat (later omitted post-*ViVid*).

Caro is characterized by kindness, timidity, and occasional social naivety. Her relationship with Erio evolves from partnership to implied romantic interest. She views Fate as a maternal figure, often seeking family time with her, Erio, and Vivio. Her bond with Lutecia blends light teasing and mutual respect, while her dedication to protecting allies underscores her growth from a fearful outcast to a confident TSAB officer.
