Description
Glick, a domesticated chipmunk raised in a pet store, finds a new home in a city apartment with his sister Fluff. His routine existence fractures when a weathered carrier pigeon recounts tales of the North Forest, igniting his resolve to venture there despite warnings of predators and treacherous terrain. Though inherently playful and mischievous, the journey gradually unveils his latent resilience and sense of duty.
Aided by Fluff’s escape plan, he navigates urban perils—evading a neighbor’s prowling cat and forging a tense alliance with Gamba, a shrewd sewer rat. This collaboration sparks clashes with a territorial house rat gang, demonstrating his knack for strategic partnerships. At a bustling zoo, he crosses paths with Nono, an adventurous chipmunk determined to accompany him. Reluctant at first, he softens into a protective role as they face aerial predators, a cunning fox, and harsh elements.
Traversing sewers, rapids, and snow-capped peaks strains his optimism. When Nono falters—battling illness or despair—he rallies her with steadfast resolve. Nearing the forest, their final trial unfolds: confronting the fox, where a death-defying ravine leap cements his growth from cautious companion to courageous leader. Reaching the North Forest completes his metamorphosis, anchoring him to wild roots while affirming his commitment to safeguarding others.
Physically distinct with brown fur, dark dorsal stripes, and a white-tipped tail, he wears a green bandanna (occasionally depicted in alternate hues for promotional purposes). His relationships, motivations, and origins remain self-contained within his journey, independent of expanded lore.
