Description
Machine Head, also known as Machinehead Tetsujin (マシンヘッド鉄仁), dominates as the all-time champion of the underground Redline racing circuit, securing his first victory at the fourth event. His supremacy stems from the "Head Power" philosophy, asserting unity with his machine: "For the others, it's 'Me and my wheels'. But in my case, it's 'I am my wheels'."

A towering cyborg, Machine Head exhibits extensive cybernetic enhancements, including a neural interface linking his spine directly to his vehicle, the God Wing. This system streams real-time data to his visual cortex, eliminating dashboard displays. Post his inaugural Redline win, he engraved the kanji "鉄仁" (Tetsujin, "iron virtuous man") onto his head, cementing his identity. These modifications blur organic and mechanical boundaries, amplifying his racing capabilities.

His hand-built vehicle, the God Wing (ゴッドウィング), resembles a spacecraft more than a car. Its evolution across races is ambiguous—possibly new builds or radical modifications of the original. Armed with forward machineguns piercing military armor and flare launchers deflecting missiles, it features a hybrid propulsion system: conventional drivetrain plus eight rocket nozzles for "Platinum Nitro Charge" (Steamlight). Uniquely, it endures repeated Steamlight use without failing. Three transformation modes adapt to crises:
- **Throne Mode**: Standard cockpit, ejecting under extreme acceleration.
- **Wheel Mode**: Deployed when vibrations destabilize the chassis; Machine Head manually extracts a wheel from his chest to regain steering.
- **Glider Mode**: Wings extend from his forearms for aerodynamics, activated as a last resort after severe damage.

Machine Head races with aggressive confidence, taunting rivals like Sweet JP during the eighth Redline: "I'm the king of kings! You know what that means, JP? It means victory belongs to me!" He critiques JP’s perceived softness but uses God Wing’s weapons defensively—only against military forces, never fellow racers. His rivalry with JP climaxes in Redline 8’s final stretch, where simultaneous Steamlight activation leaves Machine Head second, crossing the line in a mangled God Wing while his cybernetics spare him injury.

A speculative fan theory suggests Machine Head is father to racer Sonoshee McLaren, citing indirect clues: Sonoshee mentions her racer father gifting a Steamlight pendant, which Machine Head recognizes during the race. Both show concern when her car is destroyed. The theory remains unconfirmed, complicated by differing surnames (McLaren vs. Tetsujin). "Tetsujin" is likely a racing alias, while "Machine Head" references his cybernetics.

Machine Head’s personal wealth funds continuous God Wing upgrades, evident in his trophy room and pedigree dog during interviews. These resources let his machine outpace sponsored teams like Super Boins or Gori-Rider, embodying his "Head Power" ethos as both philosophy and brand through relentless technological integration.
