Description
Princess Filia rules the Land of Fountains, a realm bound to the World Tree that provides life across all worlds. Her own existence is intrinsically tied to the health of the seven fountains nourishing the Tree. Before the attack by the evil organization Dark Fall, she governed peacefully alongside spirits like Flappy, Choppy, Moop, and Foop.
After Dark Fall corrupted six fountains, Filia lost most of her power. She dispatched the flower spirit Flappy and bird spirit Choppy to the human world (Land of Greenery) to find individuals who could become legendary warriors and restore the fountains. Consequently, her physical form diminished severely, appearing as a small sprite-like being with pale pink hair, perpetually closed eyes, and a floral-adorned white and teal outfit.
As warriors Cure Bloom and Cure Egret purified each corrupted fountain, Filia manifested via hologram at the restoration sites. Each purified fountain restored a portion of her power. During these appearances, she offered cryptic keywords hinting at future challenges before vanishing. Only after all fountains were purified was her full power restored, allowing her to physically appear and personally thank the warriors.
Filia's abilities stem from her role as the spiritual embodiment of the World Tree. Her power fluctuates with the land's condition, explaining her vulnerability post-attack. She can teleport anywhere within the Land of Fountains, though traveling to the Land of Greenery consumes significant energy. To conserve power during one such journey, she temporarily inhabited the body of a cat named Korone. She uniquely commands the full power of the Fairy Charafe artifact, enabling creation and restoration, notably reviving the redeemed Dark Fall operatives Michiru and Kaoru after their sacrifice.
In the final confrontation, after the Fairy Charafe was stolen by Goyan and used to revive defeated Dark Fall generals, Filia expended her remaining energy to transport warriors Saki and Mai to the Land of Greenery. This act left her powerless until the artifact's return. Following Dark Fall's ultimate defeat, Flappy revealed Filia's fundamental nature: she is the soul of the World Tree itself, likely residing within it to sustain all worlds.
Her personality is consistently gentle, mysterious, rational, and wise. She guides the warriors with foresight, maintaining a calm demeanor despite threats to her realm.
