Description
**Minori Hyuga**, the younger sister of Saki Hyuga, lives with her family in the Land of Greenery. She sports shoulder-length brown hair, often worn loose with braided sections pinned back by a pink hair accessory, and dark brown eyes. Her typical outfit includes a pale pink butterfly-patterned camisole layered over a white blouse, paired with a pale blue skirt adorned with a white band and pink-and-white slip-on shoes.
Despite her youth, Minori responsibly assists in her family's bakery, Panpaka Pan. Kind-hearted and innocent, she occasionally sparks minor conflicts with Saki, notably when she accidentally spilled juice on Mai Mishou's drawing. This incident led to an argument, prompting Minori to run away to return Mai's sketchbook. Confiding in Mai about her struggles as a younger sister, the two bonded over shared sibling experiences before being attacked by the Dark Fall minion Moerumba, which left Minori unconscious. After Saki apologized, the sisters reconciled.
Minori deeply admires Saki, aspiring to emulate her and sharing her passion for baseball/softball. Though they share a bedroom and cherish their closeness, their relationship faces early friction before improving. Minori also connects with Mai through their mutual status as younger siblings and develops strong admiration for Kaoru and Michiru Kiryuu, whom she views as Saki and Mai's "coolest friends." She affectionately calls them older sisters, enjoying moments like sharing an umbrella with Kaoru in episode 20. Initially puzzled by Minori, the Kiryuu sisters grew fond of her. After temporarily forgetting them due to story events, Minori regained her memories and celebrated their return.
Her favorite spot is the town's playground, revealed in episode 8. Her name "Hyuga" combines characters for "sun" and "facing/toward," while "Minori" translates to "truth" or "beautiful harbor," reflecting Splash Star’s nature motifs.
