TV-Series
Description
Karehaan serves as the initial antagonist from the Dark Fall organization, holding guardianship over the Fountain of Trees within the Land of Fountains with an elemental affiliation to trees.

He possesses long, spiked yellow-white hair incorporating two braids and wears a distinctive leaf mask over his face, complemented by yellow eyes. His design draws inspiration from plant-based antagonists featured in 1970s tokusatsu series.

Personality-wise, he exhibits impatience and a volatile temper, frequently reacting with anger or shouting, especially when subjected to mockery. Acutely self-aware of his perceived status as the weakest among his Dark Fall peers, he typically withdraws to reflect alone following failures. Despite his flaws, he demonstrates honesty and expresses shock when betrayed by trusted allies like Dorodoron during combat.

His relationships within Dark Fall are complex. Moerumba displays evident romantic interest, causing annoyance due to their conflicting personalities and opposing elements (fire versus trees); this friction occasionally results in comedic mishaps like spontaneous combustion upon contact. Goyan harbors disrespect, deliberately provoking him by taunting his failures. Karehaan maintains a cold demeanor toward Dorodoron, particularly disliking nicknames, though he later acknowledges Dorodoron's strength before feeling betrayed upon abandonment in battle.

His narrative begins when dispatched to capture spirits Flappy and Choppy for information on the Fountain of the Sun's location. He attacks shortly after Saki Hyuga and Mai Mishou encounter the spirits at the Sky Tree. This confrontation triggers Saki and Mai's initial transformation into Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, leading to his defeat.

Later granted a final opportunity by Akudaikan to prove himself, he implies possessing a secret strategy. In a subsequent battle against Pretty Cure, he summons and merges with a plant-derived Uzaina monster. Utilizing destructive arboreal powers, he attempts to devastate a forest but is halted and purified by Pretty Cure's Twin Stream Splash. Attempting a final assault post-defeat, he disintegrates into bright pink light, leaving only a single leaf behind, coinciding with the Fountain of Trees' restoration.

Revived alongside Moerumba by Goyan using power stolen from the Fairy Carafe, he shows less enthusiasm for the return than Moerumba expresses joy. United by vengeance, they nearly overwhelm Pretty Cure but ultimately fail due to incessant bickering over claiming victory, forcing Goyan to retrieve them.

His final appearance involves a forced team-up with Dorodoron. Though initially successful against Pretty Cure, Michiru and Kaoru Kiryuu's intervention nullifies their powers. He is struck by the Spiral Heart Splash attack and definitively purified.

In the film *Pretty Cure All Stars DX 2*, he appears alongside Moerumba, Ms. Shitataare, and Kintoleski as representatives of Splash Star's antagonists, during which another character mistakenly refers to him as "kare pan" (curry bread).

Trivia notes include his fondness for insects. His name originates from the Japanese word "kareha," meaning "withered leaf" or "dried foliage," reflecting his true form as a withered leaf. Allies occasionally nickname him "Karecchi," prompting embarrassment. Saki Hyuga consistently misnames him "kare pan," much to his irritation.
