TV-Series
Description
Hyuuga Saki, the primary protagonist, transforms into Cure Bloom and later Cure Bright. A 13/14-year-old student at Yuunagi Middle School and member of the girls' softball team, she assists at her family's Panpaka Pan bakery, demonstrating skill in baking bread. Saki exhibits a cheerful, energetic, and optimistic personality, frequently declaring "I'm on top form!" when enthusiastic. While academically challenged, she excels in sports and maintains a sociable nature. She shares a room with her younger sister, Minori, and harbors a crush on her friend Mai Mishou's older brother, Kazuya.

Her journey as a Pretty Cure begins upon reuniting with Mai Mishou at the Sky Tree, a site they first visited together at age nine after following mysterious lights. There, they encounter spirits Flappy and Choppy from the Land of Fountains, who grant them transformative power. Saki becomes Cure Bloom, representing the earth with pink as her primary color, introducing herself as "The shining golden flower, Cure Bloom!". She later gains an upgraded form, Cure Bright, representing the moon with yellow as her theme color, introduced as "The full moon in the sky, Cure Bright!". Both transformations use the Mix Commune device, activated by the phrase "Dual Spiritual Power!". Later, she and Mai harness the Splash Commune, powered by moon spirit Moop and wind spirit Fuup, to further enhance their abilities.

Saki's relationships define her character. Her foundational partnership with Mai is rooted in mutual childhood trust. Flappy, the flower spirit, serves as her transformation partner and provides comic relief due to his unrequited crush on Choppy. The Kiryuu sisters, Michiru and Kaoru, transition from initial antagonists of Dark Fall to allies after redemption. Saki's protective familial bond with Minori also influences her motivations.

Her development emphasizes teamwork and resilience. Early conflicts, like a disagreement with Mai depicted in the film *PreCure Splash☆Star the Movie: Tic-Tac Crisis Hanging by a Thin Thread!*, highlight how their unity resolves crises. Throughout battles against Dark Fall, Saki matures from an impulsive athlete into a strategic leader. Key antagonists include Moerumba, a fire-themed minion employing dance and flamboyant tactics, and Kintoleski, Dark Fall's physically strongest warrior. The climax involves confronting Akudaikaan and Goyan, who seek to control the Fountain of Sun and the World Tree.

In the spin-off *Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom*, Saki appears as an adult working at Panpaka Pan bakery. Engaged to a man met during culinary studies, she reflects her continued passion for baking. She reunites with former allies to combat Shadows, malevolent entities born from human negativity.
