Description
Kita Kita Oyaji, originally known as Udberg Eldol, began his journey as the mayor of North Town (Kitano). When the absence of female participants threatened the continuity of the town’s traditional Kita Kita dance, he assumed the role himself, transforming the ritual into a commercialized spectacle that unsettled audiences. His unyielding enthusiasm for public performances frequently unnerves bystanders.

After crossing paths with the protagonists, he becomes an enduring presence in their travels, inserting himself into their quests. Years of relentless dance practice inadvertently honed his physical prowess, granting him the ability to vanquish monsters with a single strike. His near-immortality stems from possessing 1650 Hit Points, rendering him impervious to lasting injury despite enduring catastrophic damage.

The spin-off manga *Buyuuden Kita Kita* chronicles his accidental summoning by Chiki, a boy attempting to awaken a mythical beast. After liberating a village from monsters through his dance, he allies with Chiki and Princess Ruda to challenge Gagaru, the sorcerer responsible for petrifying her kingdom’s populace.

His combat technique blends erratic dance movements that oscillate between genuine tactical value and absurd clumsiness. During a skirmish in the fairy realm, he jubilantly danced atop a summoned creature, convinced his antics aided victory. His ornate headdress uniquely mimics his facial expressions, while a recited incantation once temporarily dyed his hair blue as a memorization aid.

Across various stories, he shifts from bumbling comic relief to improbable savior, weathering chaotic mishaps with undeterred zeal to propagate his beloved dance tradition.
