Description
Draco, originally named Jangal Rui in the Japanese version, is a high-ranking Boazanian noble and key strategist within Prince Zardoz's inner circle. He designs and deploys mechanized combat units called Beast Fighters to destroy Voltes V and conquer Earth.

A fiercely loyal aide to Prince Zardoz, Draco operates with analytical precision and unwavering dedication to the Boazanian Empire. His expertise includes reverse-engineering enemy technology, studying Voltes V to create specialized Beast Fighters like a samurai-inspired model. He displays consistent disdain for humans and hornless Boazanians, mirroring the Empire's Fantastic Racism and caste ideology.

Draco appears in key moments of conflict with other Boazanian officials. He clashes with General Oslak over strategy and suspects Marquise Zaki of treason against Zardoz. He participates in the Voltes team's imprisonment on the Skull Ship and witnesses Zuhl's execution after Zuhl's failed assassination attempt on Zardoz. Draco coordinates surveillance operations, tracking Zaki's activities through subordinates.

His relationships are defined by contention: he frequently argues with Zuhl over their differing views on Zardoz's leadership. He shares a more aligned, subordinate rapport with Zandra, though neither shows concern for their comrade's demise.

Adaptations like the live-action series *Voltes V: Legacy* preserve Draco's core traits—loyalty to Zardoz, engineering prowess, and participation in key battles—while altering his physical appearance to appear more human-like compared to the original anime's red-skinned depiction.
