Description
General Oslak serves as a supporting antagonist and aide to Prince Zardoz aboard the Skull Ship. He first orchestrates a meteor shower attack on Earth. Upon arriving at the Skull Ship, he duels the suspicious Draco and wins. Oslak presents himself as an emissary from Emperor Zambojil, sent to help Zardoz defeat Voltes V. He showcases specialized armor for this purpose and deploys the Beast Fighter Okozenia to demonstrate its power, but the Mechanical Eagle thwarts the plan.

Oslak frequently belittles Draco and Zandra, using his perceived favor with Emperor Zambojil to assert dominance. Zandra voices suspicions that Oslak is a spy sent by Zambojil, like Zuhl, but Zardoz aggressively dismisses her concerns. Zandra's suspicions later prove correct when Oslak confesses he was dispatched to assassinate Zardoz, promising Zambojil would grant him Zardoz's position upon success. Although Zardoz forgives him, Zandra and Draco remain distrustful. Oslak continues disparaging them while ingratiating himself with Zardoz, secretly persisting in schemes to eliminate the prince.

Oslak escalates by developing a mind-control ring capable of dominating its wearer. He uses this device in an attempt to sexually assault Zandra. However, Skull Ship scientists had previously discussed the invention within Zardoz's hearing. Zardoz intervenes during the assault, firing shots at Oslak and warning that any further attempt to molest Zandra will result in Oslak's death. Oslak heeds this warning and ceases his advances.

Undeterred, Oslak employs the mind-control ring against Jamie Robinson, leaving it on a beach where she collects seashells. Possessed, Jamie steals a rover, attacks Big Falcon guards, and kills those protecting her father, Commander Oscar Robinson. She attempts to kill Commander Robinson himself, but he subdues her and removes the ring. Learning his plan failed, Oslak directly shoots Commander Robinson.

Differences exist between Oslak and his original anime counterpart, Belgan. Oslak is not depicted making misogynistic remarks about women. While Belgan displayed attraction toward his counterpart, Katherine, he did not attempt rape; Belgan compelled Katherine to drink with him during a mind-control incident, whereas Oslak engaged in physical touching and attempted to kiss Zandra while she was under his influence.

Adaptational changes specific to this iteration include increased villainy. Oslak's actions escalate to attempted rape, a significant departure from the original character's behavior. His appearance reflects a cultural shift, incorporating elements like a keffiyeh, aligning with the live-action adaptation's reinterpretation of Boazanian culture with Middle Eastern influences rather than French. This character appears exclusively within this specific continuity and is not present in the original 1977 anime narrative.
