Her cooking efforts are hampered by a poor sense of taste. Regarding her family, she cannot recall her mother's face. The sole existing photograph of her mother lacks the facial portion, denying her a visual reference. Gennai created a robot replica designed to resemble her mother, but this replica was an exact double of Toshie herself, resulting in confusion.

Among the three Mobile Shinsengumi girls, she stands out as the most intelligent, demonstrated by activities like devouring Jules Verne novels while relaxing in hot springs.
