Description
Fuugen once mastered Nanto Koshū Ken, training disciples Shin and Jugai. After Shin became the style's official successor, he betrayed Fuugen, severing his leg tendons and permanently crippling him. This injury ended Fuugen's martial arts practice and independence.
Following his crippling, Fuugen was captured by slaver Guruma. Transported to Gesso City for sale, he was imprisoned alongside other captives. There, he encountered Kenshiro, who had also been captured after being gravely injured in his fight against Shin. During their shared captivity, Fuugen guided Kenshiro. He helped Kenshiro recognize and embrace his destined path as the 'true savior,' aiding his recovery and spiritual awakening.
Fuugen perished in Gesso City's cataclysmic destruction, consumed by a massive explosion.
