Known as Gadeth or Guruma, this eccentric slaver prowls the post-apocalyptic wastelands. His trade is capturing vulnerable individuals for sale in Gesso City, positioning him as a key antagonist within Kenshiro's early prequel story. He ambushes Kenshiro in the warrior's near-death state, immediately following Kenshiro's defeat by Shin and the infliction of seven chest wounds. Gadeth seizes both the injured Kenshiro and the traveling family who found him, transporting them to Gesso City for enslavement. This captivity coincides with Kenshiro's recovery and his initial steps toward destiny.

Gadeth's direct clash with the recovering Kenshiro ends in his defeat. Kenshiro employs precise Hokuto Shinken pressure point techniques, incapacitating the slaver. This encounter hardens Kenshiro's resolve to protect the innocent throughout his journey. Gadeth's role remains confined to this specific narrative segment, serving as a catalyst for Kenshiro's emergence during the missing year before the main saga.
