Description
Laura Sullivan hails from Sacramento, California, where Muge Zorbados Empire forces killed her mother during an attack. Earth Federation soldier Sara Yuki discovered her in the aftermath, leading to her adoption by Professor Kotaro Hazuki, chief scientist and engineer of the Cyber Beast Force (Jyusenki Tai).

Gentle, quiet, and shy by nature, she forges a deep bond with Masato Shikibu, the Cyber Beast Force’s youngest member, and is almost always accompanied by her small dog Becky. Her past intertwines with traitorous commander Shapiro Keats, who composed and taught her a song at the Australian Military Academy—a melody that echoes as a recurring motif in her story.

Her heritage surfaces critically: Laura is the daughter of Alan Igor (the Black Knight) and granddaughter of General Ross Igor, commander of the Cyber Beast Force. This lineage thrusts her into pivotal conflicts, culminating in General Igor’s death during episode 29 ("General Attack Pt II") as he shields her from harm. Professor Hazuki then assumes command of the force.

Though never a combatant, Laura aids the team through emotional support and symbolic acts. Her song "Harmony Love" disrupts the psionic mind-control abilities of Muge general Gildorome, directly countering enemy tactics and cementing her role as a catalyst for resistance.

Later OVAs—including *God Bless Dancouga*, *Requiem for Victims*, and *Blazing Epilogue*—contextualize her experiences within the broader war against the Muge Empire, extending her television portrayal with consistent relationships and backstory.
