Description
Victoryman, alias Shouriman, serves as eldest among three brothers hailing from the Hero Star, alongside Endeavorman and Friendshipman. He comes from a planet entirely populated by superheroes, ruled by the Hero Committee and its premier force, the Best 16 Super Heroes. His human identity is Shori Isono, a teenage student sporting spiky red hair and a white headband, who attends school in a distinct blue blazer patterned with fish and face motifs echoing his superhero appearance. This civilian guise appears solely in the manga, where he engages in a fierce rivalry with fellow student Tensai Umaretsuki, later unmasked as Geniusman.

His superhero form dons a green suit with white limbs. Blue fish designs adorn his forearms, springing to life during combat, while enigmatic faces mark his knees. A white rectangle emblazoned on his chest displays the kanji for "victory" (勝利, *shouri*). Another rectangle on his back functions as an infinite storage pocket. Victoryman wears a red *hachimaki* headband inscribed with "Hisshou" (必勝, "certain victory"). His scalp uniquely resembles a winner's pedestal, crowned by a miniature silver figure named Katsutoshi-kun. Katsutoshi-kun possesses sentience, communicates using "-ssu" suffixes, and carries miniature dynamite for self-defense.

Transformation into Victoryman demands Shori Isono prepare flawless *tonkatsu* (deep-fried pork cutlets) and affix them to his ears. His core power is an unbroken record of victory in every conflict, supported by extraordinary speed, agility, strength, and strategic combat mastery. He wields the "Kyabetsu Chika Katsukamu" attack, forming a "V" with his arms to violently launch opponents—a move phonetically parodying "Galactica Magnum." His infinite back pocket enables tactical item retrieval mid-battle.

Personality-wise, Victoryman is abrasive and quick-tempered, frequently provoking fights indiscriminately. His arrogance stems directly from his invincibility, and he vows death upon his first defeat. Despite this, he harbors a secret phobia of *gyoza* (dumplings) rooted in a childhood incident. Endeavorman's poorly made *gyoza* caused severe illness, yet Victoryman consumed them to spare his brother's feelings. This fear resurfaces in Volume 15, where he temporarily conquers it to win a *gyoza*-eating contest during a Hero Tournament.

His backstory reveals a longstanding conflict with Endeavorman. Over 200 years prior to the main events, Victoryman and Friendshipman exploited Endeavorman's determination during Hero Tournament training, profiting from his grueling public exercises. In the tournament finals, Victoryman framed Endeavorman for cheating by secretly passing him a bottle opener, leading to Endeavorman's disqualification and a 200-year hero ban. This betrayal shattered their relationship until their reunion on Earth.

In later narratives, Victoryman joins forces with Luckyman's team to defend Earth from alien threats, though his abrasive demeanor persists. His rivalry with Geniusman extends beyond combat, embodying an ideological clash between victory through force and intellectual superiority.
