Recognizing their plight, Pikachu shifts the mission focus, prioritizing finding the lost egg before retrieving Togepi. Navigating the forest, Pikachu and the group observe Bellossom's dance. An accidental Metronome-triggered Explosion attack from Clefairy propels them onto bouncy lotus leaves. A collision with Meowth sparks a brief confrontation; Pikachu repels Meowth with Thunderbolt during a dispute over Gyarados. When a severe storm threatens the Exeggcute nests, Pikachu organizes defenses. It joins forces with Elekid, using Thunderbolt to intercept lightning strikes menacing the tree. As winds sweep away a nest containing Togepi, Pikachu supports Bulbasaur's vine rescue, ultimately forming part of a collective chain—including Machop and Snorlax—to secure the nest. Pikachu later directs Squirtle and Marill to extinguish a lightning-caused fire using Water Gun. After the storm, Chansey returns the missing Exeggcute egg.
