Their romance invites significant misfortunes that plague his realm. Upon discovering Tamamo is the kitsune causing these calamities, Tobimaru confronts the threat she embodies. His mission becomes exposing her deception and eliminating her to safeguard his land and people. Ultimately, Tobimaru succeeds in this task, leading to Tamamo's demise and her transformation into the poisonous Sesshoseki stone.
