Description
Konton serves as a member of the Four Perils under the demon lord Kirinmaru. His earliest known activities trace back 600 years, placing him on Kirinmaru's ship alongside Kyūki, Tōtetsu, and Tōkotsu after Kirinmaru returned injured. In 1297, upon learning the wounded Great Dog Demon Tōga's location, Konton and Kyūki proposed ambushing him in his weakened state. Kirinmaru rejected this tactic, insisting on honorable combat, and instead dispatched Riku to gather healing herbs for Tōga.

Physically, Konton presents as tall and thin with pale green skin, two forehead horns, pointed ears, and long grayish-black hair. He sports a thin mustache featuring two distinct long hairs, clawed fingers, and a medium-length tail. His typical attire consists of a pointed black official's hat, a light brown kosode, dark brown pants, and boots. He initially wore armor crafted from a fragment of the Meiōjū shell, a demon he slew long ago. After losing this armor, he acquired a replacement set in red, gray, and black with spiked segments.

Konton wields Tao Magic and Fang Magic. His abilities include teleportation via talismans, explosive field attacks, and extending his sword using the "Divine Speed" incantation. He summons Shikigami servitors such as the Wind Lion, Thunder Lion, and a giant Blue Ogre. His signature technique, the Eight Field Escape Trap, generates illusory labyrinths controlled by a Bagua wheel and requires a keystone for activation. His primary weapon is a Divine Sword capable of firing demonic energy blasts.

He first confronted the half-demon princesses Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha after destroying a village to create a "scenic" clearing. During the battle, Towa and Meifuku (son of the slain Meiōjū) separated Konton from his shell armor by infusing it with demonic energy, triggering his retreat. Vowing revenge, he later summoned the half-demon Nikosen to eliminate the princesses, observing their clash remotely. He noted Towa's loss of demonic power during the new moon, finding it "interesting."

In a subsequent scheme, Konton slaughtered a rat yōkai village to obtain the last key to Yawaragi's cursed armor. He offered her the key in exchange for killing Moroha. Yawaragi betrayed him during the confrontation, using him as a shield against Moroha's Crimson Backlash Wave. Konton escaped via Blue Rainbow Pearl teleportation but crushed the key before fleeing.

For his final trap, Konton collaborated with Riku, who suggested using Tōtetsu as the keystone. He lured the princesses into his Eight Field Escape Trap, manipulating the environment through his Bagua wheel. After Towa and Setsuna severed the nexus to escape, they confronted him directly. Konton summoned the Wind and Thunder Lions, but both were swiftly defeated. Using the Blue Rainbow Pearl, he unleashed a Blue Ogre upon Setsuna while attacking Towa with flying swords. Towa wounded him by tracking his demonic energy, prompting Konton to empower the Ogre further. During the struggle, Setsuna redirected the Ogre toward Konton, resulting in the creature decapitating and consuming him.

Konton frequently employed the phrase "distasteful" to voice disdain, particularly toward perceived dishonor or failure. His actions reflected a coldhearted, vengeful personality focused on eliminating threats to his status and advancing Kirinmaru's interests.
