Android Rachel, alias Miss Bloody Rachel, emerges as an antagonist engineered by Dr. Cranken using combat data from Viewtiful Joe and Sexy Silvia. Built as a weapon for the Gedow organization, she infiltrates Viewtiful Joe 2 disguised as Silvia shortly after Frost Tiger’s defeat. Exploiting this deception, she seduces Joe into relinquishing the Rainbow Oscars before unveiling her true form and escaping. Functioning as a "boss rush" opponent, she confronts Joe and Silvia by morphing sequentially into Gedow’s four generals—Big John, Flinty Stone, Cameo Leon, and Frost Tiger—replicating their abilities with heightened durability. During these clashes, she teleports herself and adversaries across Movieland’s battle environments. A pivotal moment arises when Joe attributes her defeats to lacking a "heart," triggering a system error that manifests as excruciating pain and mental collapse. Despite this incompatibility with her programming, she actively requests data on "heart" from Joe and Silvia. Subsequent battles and dialogue elicit unfamiliar sensations, culminating in her describing chest warmth after final defeat. Embracing newfound emotion, she attempts to return the stolen Oscars. Dr. Cranken intervenes, deeming her emotions a failure and striking her lifeless with his cane. Post-Cranken’s defeat, Joe reactivates her. Grateful, she credits Joe and Silvia for revealing "heart" and the "beauty of life," accepting their friendship before aiding their quest for the last Oscar. Rachel reappears in the anime-based spin-off *Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble* as Captain Blue’s assistant alongside Sprocket during a movie tournament. Possessed by Tsukumo, a vengeful spirit born from film equipment, she constructs a giant body from the material to battle competitors. Once subdued, Tsukumo releases her upon sensing the heroes’ appreciation. Throughout this game, she exhibits curiosity about human concepts, especially the idea of "a lone hero against an army." Her design draws inspiration from Maria in the 1927 film *Metropolis*. Unlockable in *Red Hot Rumble* by completing Trial 29, she features an alternate "Cat suit" costume. Within the anime, she is categorized as a minor android/robot character.
