After the destruction of the Cyber Phantom, he dismisses the failure as a mere glitch and retreats to analyze combat data for future projects. Later, Dr. Cranken ambushes the protagonists after Miss Bloody Rachel steals their Rainbow Oscars, revealing he used battle data to enhance Rachel. He declares Gedow's imminent victory and orders Rachel to eliminate them. When Rachel develops empathy and attempts to return the Oscars, Dr. Cranken disables her with energy blasts from his cane, condemning her as "junkyard trash" for possessing a heart, demonstrating his ruthless commitment to efficiency and disdain for emotional weakness. In combat, Dr. Cranken employs energy blasts from his cane, teleportation, and a defensive energy shield. His signature ability generates three tentacles from his back, each tipped with either drills, magnets, or buzz saws.
