Description
Kyouko Izanami, Youta Narukami's childhood friend and romantic interest, bears the surname 伊座並 (Izanami) and the given name 杏子 (Kyouko), meaning "apricot child" in kanji.

Her childhood was marked by a mischievous, spirited, and happy personality. This disposition transformed profoundly following her mother's death during her youth, resulting in a meek, mild, and introverted demeanor in later life, though she retained her innate kindness.

Physically, Kyouko possesses long dark blue hair, pink eyes, and often wears two pink hair clips. By middle school, she was recognized for her beauty by peers, including Youta. Academically excellent, she maintains a consistently calm and passive disposition, frequently rejecting Youta's romantic advances with minimal reaction.

Her interests include watching baseball games and playing the piano, at which she demonstrates significant skill. This skill is notably displayed when she takes over a piano performance after Youta plays a song designed by Hina Sato.

Kyouko uniquely believes Hina Sato's predictions about the world ending. Her emotional journey surfaces when Youta, aided by Hina's foresight, orchestrates a visit to her mother's grave. This act allows Kyouko to confront and process her long-suppressed grief, marking a subtle but meaningful progression.

Despite her consistent rejections stemming from her reserved nature, underlying mutual feelings persist between Kyouko and Youta. Her background and personality significantly influence the narrative's exploration of loss and connection.
