Description
Richter, younger son of King Leon and rightful heir to the Baam throne, stands as both protective older brother to Erika and a prince fractured by tragedy. Witnessing Leon’s poisoning during Earth peace talks ignites an all-consuming vendetta against humanity, spurring him to command mechanized assaults on Earth—a dual quest for vengeance and a sovereign future for the displaced Baam. His rigid authoritarianism and warped justice fuel relentless clashes with Kazuya Ryūzaki, pilot of the super robot Daimos, even as he shields Erika from threats and condemns her bond with Kazuya as treachery.

The unraveling of Olban’s conspiracy—Leon’s advisor who staged the assassination to seize power—forces Richter’s reckoning. Redirecting his fury toward Olban and the assassin Georiya, he pursues lethal justice, defeating Olban in a duel that leaves him mortally wounded. In his final act, he averts the Baam Asteroid City’s collision with Jupiter, sacrificing himself while entrusting Erika to Kazuya—a silent concession to their alliance.

His relationships mirror this duality: subordinates Raiza and Balbas endure his harsh command yet align with his ambitions, while Margarete, Erika’s caretaker, confronts his rigid adherence to duty over kinship. Traditions like honor-bound duels and seppuku underscore his inflexible code, contrasting the Baam’s pacifist ideals. Once a wrathful conqueror, Richter’s violent choices inadvertently expose imperial corruption, his tragic arc bridging war and fragile peace between empires.
