His driving ambition is the acquisition of absolute power, leading him to seek control over the dormant superweapon Gigant. Lepka believes reactivating Gigant will grant him the power to dominate the world. Determined and ruthless in this pursuit, he readily eliminates obstacles and employs significant cunning, manipulation, and subterfuge. He commands a loyal faction within Industria, viewing peaceful groups like High Harbor's inhabitants and other opponents merely as impediments. His actions directly instigate the central conflict over Gigant's revival. Lepka confronts protagonists Conan and Lana, who strive to prevent the weapon's activation. His relentless quest culminates in a direct confrontation within the Gigant complex, where his fate is sealed during the climax in the superweapon's control center.
