Movie
Description
Ángel (LunLun) is a 15-year-old orphan of French descent, raised by her paternal grandparents running a flower shop. Her mother, a descendant of the Flower Star people, died in childbirth, granting LunLun an inherent connection to floral magic and a benevolent nature. Her father, a boat captain, died when she was five, leading to a period of selective mutism.

Messengers from the Flower Star—Nouveau, a dog-like being, and Cateau, a cat-like being—recruit her to find the legendary seven-color flower, symbol of the Flower Star's royal family. Her quest spans Europe and beyond, where she aids individuals facing adversity, resolving conflicts through empathy and courage.

LunLun wields a magical pin that transforms her attire and grants professional skills relevant to her challenge—like piloting or mountain climbing—when it reflects a flower's image. This original pin breaks during a confrontation near a waterfall. It is replaced by a royal crest-shaped pin linked to her life force; its loss or destruction ends her existence on Earth. This new pin activates with the phrase "Fu Flay Lu Fey Lora".

Her primary adversaries are Togenishia, a vain sorceress seeking the flower to usurp the Flower Star throne, and Yabouki, her raccoon-like accomplice. They frequently attack LunLun with magic like the Dark Wind, but their efforts fail against her resilience and ingenuity. LunLun occasionally aids them despite their antagonism, receiving no gratitude.

A key ally is Serge Flora, a photographer who provides flower seeds symbolizing life lessons to those LunLun helps. A deep mutual affection develops. Serge is ultimately revealed as the Flower Star prince. He proposes marriage, inviting her to rule as queen, but she declines to remain on Earth caring for her aging grandparents. Serge abdicates his throne to live with her.

In the movie *Konnichiwa Sakura no Sono*, she visits Japan to see cherry blossoms with her friend Midori. Confronting environmental pollution, she thwarts Togenishia and Yabouki's attempt to strip cherry trees of their petals, reinforcing her role as a protector of nature and communities.

She evolves from a spirited, tomboyish orphan into a self-assured heroine, demonstrating increasing bravery—like confronting a bull without magic—and emotional maturity. Her kindness remains central, driving her to prioritize others' well-being over personal gain, including rejecting royalty to honor familial bonds.
