Description
Futaba Kutsuki arrives unwillingly at Kanenone Academy, immediately establishing herself as a tomboyish protector of female students with a pronounced aversion to men, especially the perverted antics of the "Baka Trio" (Bacchiguu, Ichibanboshi, and Tenjin), whom she frequently assaults. Outwardly rebellious, short-tempered, and misandrist, she embodies a classic tsundere archetype, masking internal conflict. Her family's tradition of producing onmyoji grants her a subtle supernatural awareness, leaving her sensitive yet confused by uncanny phenomena.
Her rigid stance against boys begins to fracture through interactions with Yuusuke Takasaki. After he discreetly hands her a towel to preserve her modesty when her shirt becomes see-through, and later rescues her when she becomes lost and injured in the woods following a humiliating prank by the Baka Trio, Futaba develops initial romantic feelings. Six months later, in "Green Green Thirteen: Erolutions," she returns as Kanenone prepares for full co-education. Maintaining correspondence with Yuusuke but struggling to confess, a dream sequence involving Midori's spirit indirectly enables Futaba and Yuusuke to acknowledge their mutual attraction and become a couple. Their established relationship continues in the sequel "Green Green 3 ~Hello, Good-bye~," navigating co-habitation after the destruction of the girls' dormitory.
Futaba has a younger sister, Wakaba, who contrasts her temperament by being friendly, naive, and openly enthusiastic about Kanenone. Wakaba often carries a cactus named Togemura and views Futaba with deep respect, referring to her as "onee-sama." Physically, Futaba stands 164 cm tall with shoulder-length violet hair, red eyes, and a slim build. Her clothing frequently defies school regulations, typically featuring an open uniform shirt over a tank top or hoodie, emphasizing her tomboyish and combative nature.
