TV-Series
Description
Kenjiro Kurume is a producer at Houchiku Movie Stock Corporation. Initially slated as the lead producer for a new hero film, he chose to step back temporarily. This decision resulted in Mitsuki Ikita's abrupt promotion from assistant producer to the main role. Throughout the production, Kurume observes Mitsuki's work, frequently delivering critical commentary on her decisions and the challenges she faces. His persistent scrutiny fuels Mitsuki's intense dislike for him, leading her to privately label him "Dracula," though he remains unaware of her animosity.
Kurume's management approach is detached and demanding, characterized as "tough love." He offers Mitsuki minimal overt support or guidance as she navigates her struggles as a rookie producer. Maintaining a seasoned, critical presence, he watches her contend with chaotic production issues, eccentric crew dynamics, and network pressures. His focus remains on observation and critique rather than active mentorship or intervention, solidifying Mitsuki's view of him as an antagonistic figure in her professional environment.
