Disguised as Pope Gilsburg, he usurped the Kingdom of Lam by slaughtering its rulers and brainwashing their daughter Leimia into compliance. His tyrannical rule enforced religious fanaticism, ritual sacrifices, and the enslavement of women, while captives fought in gladiatorial spectacles above spike-lined pits. Alongside Endora’s power, he sought the red Jewel of Lupia—a force of righteousness. United, the jewels could either stabilize the cosmos or drown it in chaos, their impact dictated by their wielder’s will.

Though initially vanquished, Yog-Sogoth resurrected through Endora’s energy, reshaping Deadlander into a refuge for interdimensional fugitives. Posing as the “Blue God,” he manipulated Sotho—a manifestation of his fractured conscience—into retrieving Lupia under the pretense of reviving Fontaine. Once successful, he betrayed both Sotho and a resurrected Fontaine, sacrificing them to fuel his ascension.

Expanding his dominion, he ravaged dimensions, obliterating fleets and worlds while nearing omnipotence. A final clash on Aura—homeworld of Fandora’s royal bloodline—exposed his ties to the planet. Opponents exploited the jewels’ symbiotic bond, triggering their return to a divine source and severing Yog-Sogoth’s augmented might.
