Apollodoria serves as one of Cleopatra's handmaidens in the anime film. She flees with Cleopatra from Roman forces after a failed rebellion plot against Julius Caesar is exposed. Apollodoria accompanies Cleopatra and Libya to an ancient priestess who grants Cleopatra a magically enhanced, seductive body for her mission to seduce Caesar. She witnesses Cleopatra's interactions with Caesar in Rome and participates in events preceding the Battle of Actium. Apollodoria urges Cleopatra to assassinate Caesar, though Cleopatra repeatedly delays. She observes Cleopatra's alliances with Caesar and later Marcus Antonius, the defeat at Actium, and the subsequent suicides of Antonius and Cleopatra.
