Description
Lev Aldrecht was the chief mechanic for the Republic of San Magnolia’s Spearhead Squadron. An Alba man in his fifties, he had silver hair dulled by oil stains, silver eyes often hidden behind sunglasses, and a mustache. His typical attire consisted of oil-stained work clothes and a leather jacket.

He survived the Republic Armed Forces’ initial wartime destruction. Married to a Heliodor woman, they had a daughter. When his family was deported to the Eighty-Sixth Sector, he dyed his hair to follow but discovered they had perished. Seeking reunion in death, he volunteered as chief mechanic for the First Ward’s First Defensive Squadron on the Eastern Front.

Strict about Juggernaut maintenance, he frequently chastised Shinei Nouzen for damaging his unit. Yet he showed compassion, questioning whether spare parts from a fallen comrade’s Juggernaut should be used for Shin’s repairs. He viewed squadron members as children, offering candy to survivors of Shin’s generation.

His mechanical expertise drove resourceful part sourcing and maintenance team leadership. A military background enabled proficiency with emergency-stored weapons like assault rifles, machine guns, and rocket launchers.

With Spearhead Squadron, he handled Shin’s recurring Juggernaut repairs. During Lena Milizé’s base visit, he revealed his Alba heritage and shared his family’s fate and reason for serving in the Eighty-Sixth Sector. He offered the squadron a chance to kill him for being Alba, but they declined.

He fought during the Legion’s breach of the Gran Mur, using hidden weapons for a last stand. His death was confirmed in that engagement.
